So a measly response to my proposal has resulted in the shelving of my campaign to officially recognize godparents. My (yes I admit it) single reply suggested mid year,(thanks Mum)so if I choose to reignite my currently deflated crusade I will be sure to start with June as a suggested day of celebration. Ho hum...

Sorry for not commenting on your proposal. I think it is a great idea and mid year sounds fantastic, so long as you avoid fathers day June would be good
I thought the 1st Sunday in June was officially Godparents day? Google seems to think so anyway.
