I have never been one to say no to chocolate, but last night, a particularly 'dark' selection led me to decline. Vinnie brought home a box of Swiss 'delicacies' that turned, rather than tempted my stomach. A chocolatier has put a macabre stamp on our favourite confectionary by creating moulds from the body parts of Russian cadavers. Yes, you heard me, someone actually went into a Moscow morgue and took imprints of eyes, nipples and any scars they could find and created sweets for us to then...eat. To ask the question 'How far would you go for your art' is an understatement. This just goes a bit too far. Who in their right mind thinks that eating an eyelid, nipple or scar of a dead person is an attractive option? Needless to say, the box is sitting untouched on our kitchen bench...chocolate anyone?
